Now that the holidays are over and most may have put away all their Holiday decor I thought for the month of February we could join in together and do a daily purge/declutter of our homes. Here in Ontario we are in lockdown once again and spending even more time at home. With everyone at home it can be difficult to start big purging projects, so I came up with a 28 day purge/declutter for the month of February. Each task should not take you more then 15-20 minutes a day, some may even be less. This is not empty each room out and go through it. It is more of an overview of for many of them or an easy go through.
I thought long and hard on each section that I feel like can get cluttered or full of items. We will be covering areas like the fridge, the freezer, kitchen counters, our cell phones, makeup, and lots more.
Making these tasks not long and an all day task, makes it more easier to complete. This is also a great way to keep on top of these areas throughout the year, anytime you want too or feel the need too, you can always quickly review each day and select the ones you want in the order you feel like it’s needed. This makes keeping up with purging easier as we do it often so it can not be so hard or as dreadful of a task.
If you are not already subscribed to the blog I would love for you to join in. You can click here to be directed to the page. This is also a great way for you to be with us on this journey, by being subscribe you will be alerted when a new blog post is up. I will be posting a blog post daily, each day will have a new section. If you come across a day where the daily post does not apply to you, you can still go along by choosing another section of you home that you would like to do.
Want your family and friends to take part with you, feel free to share this post with them.
